The AED Plus is not just a defibrillator, but it has many other features to guide the rescuer throughout the different steps of the rescusitation process which help completing the chain of survival.

Guidelines focus on the importance of correctly completing the chain of survival which increase the chance of rescusitation success.

The device has the following features:

– Semi-automatic mode with Fast and reliable ECG analysis and shock advisory system.
– Automatic preprogrammed output energy with 200Joule max as recommended by AHA and ERC.  Escalating or fixed energy can be preprogrammed with different setups for adults and pediatrics.
– Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform provides constant defibrillation current output, with optimum intensity and without current peaks which prevent mayocardium infarction.
– Rectilinear Biphasic waveform is the most efficient defibrillation waveform and the safest for the patient as mentioned by FDA, AHA and ERC for its efficacy and reliability.

– A special sensor on pads measures the depth and rate of compression performed by the rescuer and advises whether the CPR compressions are according to the norms recommended by the international guidelines standard of CPR.
